Hi, I’m Emily!
As a dietitian, I’m all about making food more approachable, less scary, and less confusing.
Healing with food…
I experienced the healing power of food when recovering from severe illness from parasites and amoebas from traveling in a developing country. But the process wasn’t easy. I vividly remember receiving a list of foods to avoid and being sent on my way. For months I cried every time I needed to grocery shop. I knew there had to be a professional out there who understood the ins and outs of food and could walk me through such challenges. I discovered the field of nutrition!
Navigating food advice is confusing!
We are all inundated with contradictory information about food and health these days. What to believe? Who to trust? I am here to help you sort through all the advice from Dr. Google. We’ll personalize, simplify and apply what truly works for you, and we’ll throw out what doesn’t, tapping into your body’s wisdom along the way.
I believe that food is, or can be, one of life’s simple pleasures.
In my career thus far I have worked with many women and teens struggling with fear, restriction, and preoccupation with food and body. My wish for all of my clients is that they may experience the freedom and joy that arises from healing their relationship to food.
Moms, I’ve got you.
As a mom of now three little ones, I love supporting women with their relationship to food & body, self-care through pregnancy, after childbirth, and through your little one’s early childhood. We are all born as intuitive eaters, so let’s nurture it right from the start!
It would be my pleasure to guide you on your journey to find peace with food.
I invite you to schedule a free discovery call to explore getting started.
